Centuries ago, some people in rural areas of France did not own ovens of their own. So, on their way to church, people would take their Sunday roasts surrounded by sliced potatoes and onions, to the local baker, who would cook this in their ovens while the family went to services. After which, they would pick up their meals and head home to enjoy their Sunday meal with their family.”     We use Yukon gold roasted with our Rotisserie Chickens to give it a rich and buttery flavor.
